This Week's Focus: Jeffery and Patricia (multiple health issues)

Hello James,

I hope that things are going well with you, but as for me things are not sailing very smoothly. First off, if you recall I suffer from a spinal injury due to a broken neck that I received in an automobile accident in '81 that left me as a quadriplegic. As such I must rely upon other people to take care of me, that is get me in & out of bed, hygiene, etc. and then I can function on my own throughout the day without aid or problems. However the home health care agency cannot seem to maintain the staff to keep me serviced, which leaves me in a bad way and I have to call my 70 year old mother to help out. This isn't too good, because she isn't in good shape having gone through a partial radical mastectomy and suffering from lymphadema in her right arm, but she tries her best. So helping to get a door open for the right individuals to care for me would be great.

Secondly, I have been dropping weight for no apparent reason and the doctor has no idea why. At 6'3" I am estimated to be around 90# right now, which isn't good. I'm open for some suggestions from our source on what is going on and what needs to be done here..
